Well this is an interesting turn of events. Last week, Tennessee football linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. announced on his Twitter page that he is going to finish his final two years of eligibility at another school.
At the time, it was a bit odd. Despite issues with injuries, there never seemed to be any bad blood between Kirkland and the Vols. And Jeremy Pruitt’s system is a perfect fit for a guy like Kirkland.
Well, things have changed since then. Kirkland’s Twitter page now no longer exists. And on Tuesday morning, Chris Low said on Twitter that Jeremy Pruitt told him Kirkland plans to stay with the Vols.
