It’s not just that the Tennessee Vols have a ton of returning starters from a 9-4 team that lost all four games by one score and another elite recruiting class that can make an immediate impact.
True, that is the reason behind the hype for the football team and why Butch Jones’s players are expected to win the SEC East.
But there appears to be more brewing in Knoxville these days.
After all, Jones has shown pretty clearly that he’s all in for 2016, going after Bob Shoop, focusing on immediate junior college players who could make in impact with his most recent recruiting class, and just perfectly setting everything up for there to be no weaknesses on the team this year…provided there are no injuries.
