On Monday, news of Art Green’s commitment to Tennessee football was really just about the Vols adding a seventh player to their 2020 recruiting class. However, just a day later, Green has become a much bigger deal for Rocky Top.
After his commitment, Green was reclassified to a four-star on 247Sports and Rivals, and he received a major ratings boost as a junior college transfer. 247Sports now has Green as the No. 2 JuCo player nationally and the No. 1 defensive back.
This is a huge deal. Jeremy Pruitt clearly saw something in the guy that services weren’t yet seeing.
