A weather delay to start the game, a key turnover on the opening drive and then a weather delay to pause the game in the second half were all roadblocks for Tennessee football. But that didn’t stop the Vols from beating the Vanderbilt Commodores 28-10 on Senior Day.
Lots of people deserve credit for this victory and this turnaround season as a whole. Starting 1-4 with their first two games being losses at home to Group of Five schools made a 7-5 finish incredibly impressive.
Also, given their three-game losing streak to Vandy, every play in this game was crucial for Tennessee football.
