ESPN is reporting the Tennessee football Volunteers added former Auburn Tigers defensive coordinator.
Something’s not right. Tennessee football hired former Auburn Tigers defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, according to a report from Chris Low of ESPN. Given that Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin didn’t retain Steele and the Vols have two coaching vacancies, this hire makes sense on paper, as Steele played for Rocky Top in the late 1970s under Johnny Majors.
