Back in late spring, the Tennessee Volunteers football program suffered a monumental blow. Junior wide receiver, Von Pearson, was implicated in a rape case investigation, which was conducted by the Knoxville police department. There was an incident that occurred near the University of Tennessee campus, in the month of April.
The allegations sent shockwaves throughout the Volunteers football and the entire big orange fan base.
The instant head coach for the Volunteers, Butch Jones, caught wind of the situation, he immediately suspended Von Pearson.
