Tennessee football makes cut for in-state 2022 QB/ATH Destin Wade

For the second straight day, Tennessee football made the cut for an in-state 2022 prospect from the Nashville area. In this case, that prospect could potentially be their next quarterback, which is obviously a major storyline under Josh Heupel.

Destin Wade, who is listed as a dual-threat quarterback on 247Sports and ESPN but an athlete on Rivals, had the Vols in his top nine. Standing between 6’3″ and 6’4″ and weighing between 195 and 205 pounds, Wade is a four-star on Rivals and a three-star on 247Sports.
