For the second straight offseason, Tennessee football punter Joe Doyle is entering the transfer portal. Doyle follows place kicker Brent Cimaglia, who entered the portal on Friday, as the first two players to officially enter the portal upon the hiring of Josh Heupel as head coach. They also both happen to be special teams players.

In 2018, Doyle was the Vols’ starting punter, and he held that position midway through 2019.
