One of Jeremy Pruitt’s staff changes this offseason involved promoting somebody from an off-field role for Tennessee football. Joe Osovet is moving to tight ends coach, replacing Brian Niedermeyer as he moves over to the defensive side of the ball.
Of all the hires Pruitt made, there are things that make Osovet the most unique. After all, his SEC ties aren’t as deep as most, and he’s the only guy in this round of staff changes Pruitt promoted from an off-field position.
Even with that, though, there are plenty of things that make him similar to other hires.
