Well, we got our first look at Tennessee football’s offensive and defensive schemes under the new coaching staff Saturday. Although it’s hard to believe that Jeremy Pruitt, Tyson Helton and Kevin Sherrer showed everything in the spring game, they certainly gave plenty of clues as to what the Vols will look like in 2018.
Helton’s pro-style offense and Sherrer’s 3-4 defense are all about keeping up with the times. We knew that when this staff came together.
Before the spring game began, however, there were numerous debates about exactly what the systems would look like.
