After losing a heartbreaker to the No. 3 ranked Kansas Jayhawks on the road Saturday in the SEC/Big 12 challenge, Tennessee basketball returns to SEC play Tuesday evening. Still trying to get on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament, the Vols are about to begin a brutal stretch run.
UT hosts A&M with a 12-7 record overall and a 4-2 SEC record. Before Saturday’s loss, they had won two straight against the Ole Miss Rebels and Vanderbilt Commodores, holding both opponents to under 50 points.
The Aggies, meanwhile, come in with a 9-9 record having lost three of four games, including dropping their SEC/Big 12 Challenge matchup as well to the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
