Tennessee took care of business in their back-to-back road games. The road trip began in Columbia with a battle against South Carolina. The Gamecock faithful showed up and showed out selling out Colonial Life Arena.
The hostile crowd played a huge role in helping the Gamecocks keep the game close for most of the first half. Thanks for the dominating play of Chris Silva who ended the game with 28 points and ten rebounds, South Carolina cut the lead down to two points with 13 minutes left in the contest.
