Tennessee baseball fans are ripping Danny White over Tony Vitello leaving the Vols

Tony Vitello has finally decided on the San Francisco Giants' manager opening, and he will not be returning to Rocky Top.

The coach who brought Tennessee's baseball program out of the gutter and into national prominence will be the Giants' next manager, per ESPN.

While it was likely a tough decision for Vitello to leave Knoxville as the highest-paid coach in college baseball, Tennessee didn't do enough to keep him on Rocky Top, and Vols fans are furious.

To pile on, USA Today's Bob Mightengale reported that Vitello is set to take a pay cut in San Francisco.
