Tennessee has added a body up front on the defensive line, landing USC transfer Caleb Tremblay. Josh Heupel mentioned defensive line as “a place where they could add some depth” following the Orange and White Game. Just days later, they’ve done just that.
Tremblay made his announcement on Thursday afternoon.
The Volunteers have plenty of veteran depth at defensive tackle on the roster, but Darel Middleton and Aubrey Solomon were not available to play during the spring game. Tennessee also released KaTron Evans from his NLI last week. The more pressing need is at defensive end, where Tremblay will likely land in Knoxville.
