Slowly but surely, Tennessee is starting to warm up on the recruiting trail. Josh Heupel had quite the task ahead of him when he took this job in January, but now he and his staff have found a little footing ahead of the start of the season.
The Volunteers are up to 11 commitments now in the class of 2022, headlined by four-star quarterback Tayven Jackson and four-star receiver Cameron Miller. Now they’re finalists for another blue-chip target — Addison Nichols.
The four-star tackle trimmed his list to three schools on Wednesday, placing Tennessee alongside of North Carolina and Ohio State.
