Former Tennessee offensive lineman Ryan Johnson quickly found a new home. The former starter announced that he would transfer with a season left to play, looking for a place where he could get more chances to play.
On Monday, he announced that he would be moving on to Georgia Tech.
Johnson started every game for Tennessee in 2018, but lost that starting gig once Trey Smith, Brandon Kennedy came back from injury and two five-star freshman tackles arrived. Johnson remained a part of the rotation up front, but the writing was on the wall for next season.
