According to a couple of reports, Jeremy Banks is enrolled at Tennessee and is currently working out with the football team. Doug Mathews reported the news this afternoon on the Midday 180, along with Dan Harrelson at VolsWire.
Banks was removed from the team after an encounter with the Knoxville police, stemming from an unpaid parking ticket. The scene at the arrest was later released on video, which made removing Banks from the team a no-brainer move for Jeremy Pruitt.
However, Banks remained enrolled at Tennessee through the situation and rumors never quite went away that he could rejoin the team at some point.
