Tennessee announced the addition of seven-foot-one center Uros Plavsic on Tuesday morning. The school announced that Plavsic plans to enroll for the first session of summer school.
The move was made by the Tennessee staff directly after Grant Williams announced that he was staying in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Originally from Serbia, Plavsic moved to Chattanooga and graduated from Hamilton Heights Christian Academy. He signed with Arizona State out of high school as a four-star prospect. Plavsic redshirted last season before announcing his transfer last Friday night.
Tennessee is expected to go after a waiver so he can play immediately.
