Non-conference games in jeopardy for Tennessee

In a move sure to start a domino effect around the college football landscape, the Big Ten announced that they would be moving forward with a conference games only schedule in 2020. This, of course, due to COVID-19 concerns, which have rocked the sports world all year long.

“By limiting competition to other Big Ten institutions, the Conference will have the greatest flexibility to adjust its own operations throughout the season and make quick decisions in real-time based on the most current evolving medical advice and the fluid nature of the pandemic,” the Big Ten said in a statement.
