A new element will be in use at Neyland Stadium during the 2021 season — a trend that has been picking up steam all over the country. Tennessee has installed LED lighting, a system capable of producing the light shows that you’ve seen lately at places like Alabama and Georgia.
The lights were seen earlier this week, and Tennessee made an official announcement on Wednesday as a part of several new fan enhancements.
“A vibrant, state-of-the-art LED lighting system is in the final stages of completion in Neyland Stadium,” the release stated. “A dramatic LED light show will accentuate pregame and in-game festivities.
