The whole situation between Tennessee football and Boo Carter is one that's nothing short of disappointing. Carter was once a fan favorite and he was a stud for the program during his freshman season. Since then, everything has fallen off the rails.
Things reached a breaking point over the weekend, with Carter and the Vols deciding to part ways. Since then, Carter claimed that he was dealing with an injury and that Heupel and the Tennessee staff were trying to make him play hurt.
