The amount of drama that former Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava created for the Volunteers this past offseason was a lot, but it may have turned out to be a good thing. Due to all of that drama, the Volunteers were able to get former UCLA quarterback Joey Aguilar in what ended up being basically a swap between the two guys.
Aguilar, in two starts, has already impressed Tennessee in many ways. In his season opener against Syracuse, Aguilar went 16-for-28 for 147 yards and three touchdowns. Against ETSU, he went 23-for-31 with 288 yards and two touchdowns and didn't have to finish the game thanks to the early lead.
