With how much of a rollercoaster ride it has been for the Tennessee football team this offseason, sometimes it's easy to forget that cornerback Jermod McCoy suffered a serious knee injury. Back in January, the unfortunate update arrived.
That update was that McCoy tore his ACL while training back home in Texas. Immediately, his status for the start of the season was totally up in the air. As you might have been able to guess, head man Josh Heupel was asked about things at SEC Media Days.
While Heupel said that he has seen McCoy and that he's looking good in his rehab work, the veteran coach added that there's still no timetable for when he'll be able to get back on the field and practice.
