As Tennessee hit the practice field for the first time this spring, an obvious position change was immediately spotted. Princeton Fant — a guy who has worked with the tight ends and receivers in the past — was working with the running backs.
Jeremy Pruitt confirmed the move after practice.
“Long-term position — I don’t know. When he got here, he went to the tight end position. After we kind of looked around, we said no, you’re going to this room. So we’re going to give him a shot at running back.”
Fant could potentially join a depth chart which already includes Ty Chandler, Trey Coleman and Tim Jordan.
