KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd took to Twitter on Sunday to explain what we already knew and reported.
Hurd said he suffered a concussion against Georgia, so he didn’t make the trip to Texas A&M the following week.
He also said he “understood the read-option offense may not be the best fit for me,” but he put that aside to sign with Tennessee because of his “love” for UT. He also hoped for some “scheme adjustments to suit my strengths.”
How will Hurd’s mea culpa play with Vol Nation?
