Four-Star safety Antonio Johnson decommits from Tennessee

One of Tennessee’s highest ranked commits in the 2020 class announced that he was reopening his recruitment on Sunday night. Antonio Johnson, a four-star safety from Illinois, decommitted from Tennessee after committing on June 7th.

Johnson committed alongside of his high school teammate Javontez Spraggins after the two camped with Tennessee in June.

Johnson is 6-2, 179 pounds and is ranked as the 149th player in the 2020 class, according to 247 Sports. He’s the 12th ranked safety in the class and the 4th ranked player out of the state of Illinois.
