Running back Cody Brown committed to the Vols that afternoon. A four-star on Rivals, Brown is a top 70 player nationally, the No. 5 ranked player at his position and the No. 5 ranked player from the state of Georgia.
Coming out of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Ga., Brown followed Florida defensive back De’Shawn Rucker as Tennessee football’s two commitments for the day.
