Five Vols legends enshrined in Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame

Five legendary Tennessee football players were enshrined in the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday in Nashville.

Chad Clifton, Willie Gault, Haskel Stanback, Al Wilson and Graham Vowell (posthumous) were among the 11-member induction class honored at the 51st annual induction banquet.

Clifton, who redshirted after enrolling at UT in 1995, became a fixture on the Vols’ offensive line, earning All-SEC selections in 1997 and ’98 before embarking on a Pro Bowl career with the Green Bay Packers.

Gault, a two-sport athlete who also competed on the track team, was an All-American in 1982, with 50 receptions for 668 yards and four touchdowns.
