Anyone else still buzzing after the Tennessee football team was able to win a key in-state recruiting battle? On Monday, the Vols picked up the commitment of 4-star athlete Joel Wyatt, taking down Vanderbilt, North Carolina, LSU and many others in the process.
Throughout his recruitment, the Tennessee staff made Wyatt feel like a priority and it played a big role in his decision. Oh, and there was also a future Vol in his ear working to make his life-changing call an easy one.
That'd be 5-star quarterback pledge Faizon Brandon, who indeed helped out with the recruiting efforts.
