Ex-Tennessee basketball coach to make pro wrestling debut

We have seen many two-sport athletes in the past. Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson were two of the more successful dual-sport athletes, while Michael Jordan had an unsuccessful professional baseball run during his first retirement from the NBA in the 90s.

It isn’t too often where a coach leaves one sport to “coach” another, but that is exactly former Tennessee Volunteers basketball coach Donnie Tyndall will be doing this weekend.

According to College Basketball Talk, Tyndall will be making a guest appearance with the New Heavenly Bodies, made up of Desirable Dustin and Gigolo Justin, as they take on Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows of the infamous, Japanese villain stable The Bullet Club as part of Global Force Wrestling’s Grand Slam Tour.
