Donnie Tyndall facing multiple NCAA violations

Former Southern Miss Golden Eagles and Tennessee Volunteers head men’s basketball coach Donnie Tyndall is facing multiple violations from the NCAA regarding his time at Southern Miss.

According to ESPN’s Andy Katz, Tyndall will face the following violations: academic fraud involving recruits, illegal benefits provided to athletes, and “a lack of control that falls under the unethical conduct.”

A Notice of Allegations should be released by the end of the week, with a hearing in front of the infractions committee expected early next year. Tyndall and Southern Miss will have 90 days to respond to the Notice of Allegations, per NCAA rules.
