Cooper Named SEC All-Freshman

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee reserve point guard Te’a Cooper has been named to the 2016 Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.

The 5-foot-8 product of Powder Springs, Ga., and McEachern High School is averaging 8.9 points, 2.3 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals per contest for the Lady Vols in 29 games. She is hitting 35 percent of her field goal attempts and 71 percent from the free throw line.
