Can Vols WR Jauan Jennings rise above setbacks from checkered past?

Tennessee’s most controversial player would have to be redshirt junior wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

He’s also one of their most talented.

Jennings was kicked off the team by interim coach Brady Hoke last November following an expletive laden Instagram rant pointed at the Tennessee coaching staff. He was allowed back on the roster by new head coach Jeremy Pruitt.

Even before that error in judgement, Jennings was rarely allowed by Tennessee’s Sports Information Department to meet with the media. I don’t see that changing very much in 2018, especially not with Pruitt’s limited access policy for reporters covering the team.
