John Fulkerson’s 14 point effort made a clear difference for the Volunteers, who badly needed that win to stop their tumble down the projected NCAA seed list.
That second half offered a glimpse of hope for Tennessee fans, who have watched this team continue on an up-down trajectory in conference play with no consistency in sight. At one point in the first half they trailed to the tune of 31-17, but Keon Johnson, Victor Bailey and Fulkerson were able to find the offense and get things turned around.
