Aggies picked to win 2018 SEC Men's Tennis title

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference announced the men's tennis coaches' preseason poll, Tuesday.

Texas A&M was picked as the overall champion. The Aggies have won at least 20 matches in each of the last four seasons under head coach Steve Denton and six times in his 11-year tenure. Texas A&M returns six lettermen from last year's squad that advanced to the NCAA Round of 16. They are currently ranked seventh in the Oracle ITA rankings.

The preseason poll is voted on by the men's tennis head coach at each institution and is based on a 13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote.
