While Tennessee had three decommitments Sunday in the wake of Butch Jones’ firing, one commitment says he is as strong for UT as ever.
Three-star cornerback Brandon Cross, from Orlando Jones, told the Orlando Sentinel he received a call Sunday night from Tennessee AD John Currie, who told him his scholarship offered would be honored.
“I was really impressed by that,” Cross told the newspaper. “He was just telling me, after I put a post on Twitter about me still being committed, that he appreciated my loyalty and that no matter what, I was still going to have my scholarship.
