NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans offense looked about as unthreatening as could be imagined Sunday in a 34-6 loss to the Texans.
Playing in place of the injured Marcus Mariota, quarterback Zach Mettenberger struggled to get anything going. The vast majority of his completions were over the middle. The Titans only ran the ball 11 times for 30 yards.
And the Titans offense turned the ball over three times, with punt returner Harry Douglas also giving the ball away.
Receiver Kendall Wright’s return from broken ribs didn’t last long as he was knocked out with a knee injury.
