The Tennessee Titans have been shorthanded at cornerback in recent weeks. They made the decision to release Samuel Womack III from the roster. That same week, boundary starter Jalyn Armour-Davis went down with an Achilles injury that has sidelined him for two straight games.
The Titans have shuffled personnel in response. Nickel corner Marcus Harris is playing outside. Safety Kevin Winston Jr. is playing nickel to make up the numbers. Both rookies are currently thriving.
General manager Mike Borgonzi recently added two cornerbacks to the 53-man roster, but neither has been trusted to play defensive snaps yet.
