Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi is pondering which players to make available ahead of the November 4th NFL trade deadline. One of the potential candidates is veteran defensive end Dre'Mont Jones. Though Jones has been performing admirably in recent weeks, the Titans need to strongly consider trading him.
Jones was signed to a one-year contract worth $8.5 million by Borgonzi during the offseason. He was acquired as a short-term solution for a much bigger pass-rushing problem. Though Jones began the season in very disappointing fashion, his play has improved in recent outings.
The Titans are struggling to consistently rush the passer even with an in-form Jones at their disposal.
