Titans keep ignoring biggest need after waiver claims surface

The Tennessee Titans submitted their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday afternoon. It all felt very temporary. General manager Mike Borgonzi owned the No. 1 priority on the waiver wire, and previously hinted at actively looking for upgrades to the roster.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that the Titans claimed four players off waivers. Linebacker Dorian Mausi, defensive tackle CJ Ravenell, and cornerbacks Samuel Womack and Jalyn Armour-Davis are going directly to the Titans' 53-man roster. After signing veteran defensive tackle Shy Tuttle on Tuesday, that makes five new additions.

The Titans must release five players from their initial 53-man roster by Wednesday afternoon.
