Titans finally admit defeat on NFL Draft bust of epic proportions

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks was entering a make-or-break training camp period after consistently failing to meet expectations. Through three completed seasons, Burks had totaled just 53 receptions for 699 yards and one touchdown. The 2022 first-round pick, who was essentially acquired in exchange for AJ Brown, spent more time injured and dropping passes than he did being productive.

Burks was not projected to make the team's 53-man roster this season. Despite recovering from last season's ACL injury in impressive fashion, he entered camp fighting to extend his career in Tennessee. Head coach Brian Callahan recently praised Burks' work ethic and approach, but admitted he needed to be more productive.
