Tyjae Spears was placed on IR as a result of his high-ankle sprain. Spears will miss a minimum of four regular-season contests. Elsewhere, the Titans waived Jordan Mims and Jermar Jefferson, sources confirmed to Titan Sized.
The Titans kept Julius Chestnut and Kalel Mullings at running back behind starter Tony Pollard. Mullings suffered a minor injury in the preseason finale.
