The Tennessee Titans are approaching their 2026 bye week with more questions than answers. Sure, Cam Ward’s development remains central to the franchise’s long-term ambitions. However, Tennessee’s struggles extend well beyond the quarterback position. The offense has shown occasional flashes of explosiveness. The defense, though, has repeatedly failed to provide the resistance necessary to keep games competitive. At 1-7, the Titans are desperately searching for some solid foundation. Their biggest priority during the upcoming break should be addressing the alarming collapse of their interior defensive line. Unless Tennessee finds a way to do that, even Ward’s most promising performances will continue going to waste.
