I don’t know if the referees cost the Tennessee Titans a win last week, but they certainly didn’t help the home team at all.
In my mind, the fair thing to do is to split the majority of the blame up between the offensive coordinator, offensive line, head coach, and referees. If you don’t think they had that big of an impact, go back and look at these calls:
-The unnecessary roughness call on Jurrell Casey that gave the Bills offense life and ultimately led to the go ahead goal.
-A dumb holding call the official made on Jack Conklin on the goal line when the run was going away from him and where (if there even was a hold) it had no impact on the touchdown that was called back.
