Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons is so driven in his rehab from a torn ACL that it motivated defensive tackle Jurrell Casey to work harder to return from his own injury.
Casey started off training camp on the PUP list, but has since returned to practice and looks to be ready for the start of the season. Before that, he was working with Simmons while the pair were rehabbing from their respective injuries.
In that process, Casey says he was motivated by Simmons because of how hard the rookie worked, per ESPN’s Turron Davenport.
Simmons is making an impact with veterans, too.
