I know there is a lot of optimism over the potential resurrection of Cam Newton’s career in New England, but I think they are still a team that just isn’t built to beat the Tennessee Titans.
Last year Tom Brady played a decent game, at home, in an offense where he felt very comfortable. Despite all of these advantages, the trio of Brady, Bill Belichick, and Josh McDaniels could only put up 13 points on the Titans ailing defense.
Their lone touchdown came on a trick play where Brady pretended to yell at Julian Edelman to get to the other side of the field because he “lined up wrong” but it was a ploy to get him going in jet motion.
