The Detroit Lions are in a strange position in the NFC North, but there is reason to think that they would want to get a deal done with the Tennessee Titans.
Why? Well aside from the front offices sharing ties all the way back to the New England Patriots, Matt Patricia and Mike Vrabel were together in New England themselves for five years with Patricia being Vrabel’s position coach for three years.
So it is fair to think that the two have been in pretty steady communication throughout the years and that if the Tennessee Titans are going to get a deal done with any team in the NFL, it would be the Detroit Lions.
