Tennessee Titans: How the 2021 NFL Draft impacts Kristian Fulton

Sept. 20, 2020 in Nashville, Tenn. An55405

Heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans looked like they just needed a patch up on the defensive side of the ball. Logan Ryan, Wesley Woodyard, and Jurrell Casey were all off the roster, but the core of the team was still in place.

Coming off of the 2019 NFL season, the thought was that the Titans had one of the most talented groups of defensive backs in the NFL with Malcolm Butler, Adoree Jackson, Kenny Vaccaro, and Kevin Byard. When Jon Robinson selected Kristian Fulton in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the consensus was that the Titans had added the final piece to a group of veteran defensive backs and he would be allowed to ease his way into the NFL as a nickel corner.
