Defensive end Brent Urban‘s time with the Tennessee Titans has come to an abrupt end.
On Saturday, Tennessee cut ties with the six-year veteran after playing in just four games with the team.
The Titans signed Urban in April, and he was expected to be a key contributor on the defensive line. That never really materialized, as Urban only played 63 defensive snaps, and was inactive for two of the six games this season.
A fourth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Urban spent his first five seasons in the league as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, though due to a series of injuries, he only managed to play two full seasons with the Ravens before joining the Titans.
