Stephen Gostkowski regains clutch form, giving Titans much-needed stability

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- In Week 5 last season, then-Tennessee Titans kicker Cairo Santos missed four field goal attempts, leaving 12 points on the field that cost the Titans in a 14-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

They dealt with inconsistency at the position all season, shuffling through five kickers. Fast-forward to this year: The Titans are getting exactly what they need in veteran Stephen Gostkowski. It is no coincidence that the Titans are winning some of the tough, close games that would have resulted in a loss last season.

Gostkowski's latest performance in the win Sunday over the Vikings included a career-high six field goals, one of which was the winner that he nailed from 55 yards.
